As well as being inexpensive protection for your hands this comfortable to hold accessory assists with holding your lino or softcut block while you work.

When cutting into Lino the natural instinct is to drive a cutting gouge towards the restraining hand holding the piece of work.

To help protect users this guard is held either at the corner of a lino block or on top of the carving material close to the area to be cut. Any slippage is caught in the upright walls of the guard protecting the user from harm.

Designed to be ergonomic, used left or right handed, it is a one-piece plastic moulding suitable for small to large hands.
