Water-based Gutta for the Serti (enclosure or fence) technique for painting on silk with Setasilk colours, available in pearlescent and opaque.
Apply straight from the tube, air-dry in around 30 minutes for use on most silks.
To fix iron for 5 minutes on the back of the fabric with a dry iron (without steam) on the cotton setting.
With the exception of colourless Gutta (which will be washed away) other colours can be washed by hand or on a delicate machine cycle 48 hours after being fixed.
