Gilding - ADHESIVE - Pebeo - MIXTION Paste - 75ml

A transparent, water-based glue used to work with Gilding leaves and flakes for use on many surfaces including wood, plaster, glass, metal, cardboard and paper.

Application:

Apply to clean, dry surfaces with a brush or stencil, covering the whole area of the pattern to be gilded, working on small successive areas to prevent it from drying before the gilding is applied.

Leave to dry for about 10 minutes to allow it to become sticky to the touch. 

Gently lay the gilded leaves or flakes onto the glued surface and lightly brush with a soft brush to smooth the surface.

Clean brushes etc with soap and water.

Varnish is recommended to protect the decoration once finished.
