Large tube of Winsor & Newton's popular Artists quality Oil paints.
Formulated using only the finest pigments with each tone giving excellent coverage, tinting strength and stability.
A deep blue colour.
Made by German chemist Diesbach around 1704 making it the first synthetic blue pigment, quickly gaining favour as an alternative to genuine Ultramarine.
It has a smooth, buttery consistency allowing the paints to be used thickly with brushes & painting knives or it can be easily thinned to create fine glazes.
The paint is priced in 'Series' to reflect the cost of pigment used.
