A single Plastic Baren, used extensively for applying pressure to the back of surfaces for relief or intaglio printing. 

Easy to hold, looped handle helps with stabilising the tool whilst exerting the correct amount of pressure to the surface.

The dimpled face allows the tool to glide over the back of the printed surface without snagging, also helping to pick out more delicate marks within designs for greater clarity.

The device allows pressure to be applied evenly and precisely so that the ground/paper can contact more thoroughly with the inked surface beneath, resulting in better ink attachment and more consistent results across the printed area.
