Acrylic Mediums - Winsor & Newton Galeria - Sand Texture Gel 250ml

A granular paste formulated with refined and purified sand, it has finer and more consistent texture than the pumice in Mineral Texture Gel.

It can also be used on its own as a clear, textured film, or with added colour for over-painting. Alternatively it can be applied and then overpainted once dry. 

Apply using a brush or knife, ensure equipment is cleaned using water immediately after use.

Stir well before use, flow can be increased using Gloss Medium, don't over thin with water.

Winsor & Newton advise that while natural or environmental sand can be added to acrylic colour, any impurities may seriously compromise the chemistry of the paint film.
