SILICONE PAINTING TOOLS - Princeton CATALYST - Long Handle 30mm BLADE - 2 - Blue

Blades crafted from flexible silicone are mounted on artist wooden brush handles (approx. 250mm long) offering a blend of tradition and innovation allowing artists a new form of expression, for use with many mediums, ideal for heavy-bodied paints, both oils and acrylics.

In addition they can be used with plaster, clay and because they are heat-resistant, they excel with encaustics.

The silicone is easy to wipe clean and is solvent resistant, clean up in most cases can be done with mild soap and water or dried paint can be peeled off the silicone surface, Catalyst™ blades can even be separated from their wood handles for cleaning and easily replaced when dry.

Their construction makes them more responsive to pressure than metal knives and unlike traditional knives the wedges allow any side to be used.
