These fabulous extra soft pastels have an exceptional luminosity due to the naturally occurring minerals used in their manufacture, still sourced from the Champagne region of France. Most tones are made up of delicate shade gradients, tending towards white.

Because they are available in 525 shades to make it easier to select we've split them into colour groups.

Still made to traditional methods created well over a hundred years ago these ‘extra soft’ pastels are made with pure, selected pigments and a natural binder.

Comfortable to handle, with a smooth and velvety quality their large contact surface allows big areas to be covered with a high degree of uniformity.
