ARTISTS OIL COLOUR - Winsor & Newton Artists' - 200ml tube - Ivory Black

Large tube of Winsor & Newton's popular Artists quality Oil paints.

Formulated using only the finest pigments with each tone giving excellent coverage, tinting strength and stability.

A stable all-round black colour with brown undertones and excellent tinting powers.

Its name stems from the traditional method for obtaining it, roasting elephant tusks which understandably is no longer the case.

It has a smooth, buttery consistency allowing the paints to be used thickly with brushes & painting knives or it can be easily thinned to create fine glazes.

The paint is priced in 'Series' to reflect the cost of pigment used.
