An opaque warm yellow colour. A combination of pigments, it closely resembles Naples Yellow, the name coming from the natural deposits found in Mount Vesuvius, Naples.

As their name suggests these oil colours dry much more quickly than traditional oil paints, making it possible for glazing techniques and impasto to be done in a single session.

Drying time will be affected by the thickness of the paint and the ambient temperature but as a guide it tends to remain workable on the palette for 4-8 hours and is touch dry in 18-24 hours. 

Available 48 tones, this range have a slightly greater level of transparency than traditional oils, providing increased depth and clarity when glazing. They are also a little more fluid in consistency and dry with a more reflective surface.
