SURFACE PREPARATION - Sennelier - WHITE Gesso Primer - 500ml

Rapid drying white universal primer providing good coverage and for application to non-oily painting surfaces such as canvas, paper and wood.

Suitable for many techniques including: acrylic, oil, watercolour, tempera, egg tempera, casein and gouache.

For acrylic painting, one layer is sufficient and for oil painting two layers are recommended.

Penetrates the surface allowing good paint adhesion. For un-primed canvases, a sizing coat is necessary before application. 

Use straight from the pouch or can be diluted with water (80/90% Gesso to 20/10% water depending on preferred consistency).

Apply in its natural white or tint by pre-mixing it with acrylic colour. 

Packaged in an easily re-sealable innovative pouch minimising drying out and waste.
