Specifically developed to appear and work just like conventional oil colour, Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colours are also made from Linseed and Safflower oils, which have been modified so that they will mix and clean up with water.

To compliment the paint a range of Artisan thinners, oils and mediums have also been developed.

The depth of colour, buttery consistency, light-fastness, opacity/transparency, performance and drying times of Artisan, allows it to be used for all traditional oil colour techniques but removing the need to use of solvents such as turpentine or white spirit. 

As a result, artists can enjoy a more comfortable painting environment,  making them ideal for:-
